Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance for physical therapy?
We are a hybrid company, meaning that we are out of network for most insurances, but do accept HealthChoice and BCBS at this time. Medicare will be available by December 2025!
Cash pay gets rid of the rules that insurance dictates and allows us to treat your whole body without limitations. Superbills can be provided upon request to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Some clients choose to use cash pay services even if they have insurance due to their deductible costs or to allow full body treatment.
We are in association with Care Credit and can offer this as an option to help finance your visits! Message us or ask during your visit for additional information.
Initial evaluations and follow-ups are scheduled at $150 for 1 hour and $225 for 1.5 hours of one-on-one care. Wellness visits (30 minutes) and pediatric follow up visits (30 minutes) are priced at $75.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
In Oklahoma, you have 30 days of direct access! This means you can start care and continue for up to 30 days without having a referral from your doctor. At that 30 day point, you will need a referral from your doctor to continue care.
I’m not pregnant or having a baby, is PT still for me?
YES! Pelvic PT is for so much more than the peripartum period. I treat males, females, and pediatrics. Pelvic health is full-body and can be the missing factor in stubborn low back pain, abdominal pain, or even ankle pain. Schedule a consultation and let’s talk!
What does the WCS mean?
The WCS indicates my board-certification in pelvic health. It is technically a women’s health clinical specialist board certification designation, but covers male pelvic health as well. This means I didn’t just take a few classes and call myself a specialist. I took all of the pelvic and obstetric training from the American Physical Therapy Association, received my CAPP-Pelvic certification, treated 2000+ hours, and then took a board certification examination.
What makes you qualified to teach childbirth education classes?
I was trained by Birth Arts International and completed my certification in 2025. This certification process required 200+ hours of coursework, material creation, teaching a preliminary class, submitting several book summaries, and then taking a certification test. I also have information from MamasteFit, birth doula training from DONA, and my background as a Board-Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist Physical Therapist.
How often do you have childbirth education classes?
Private classes are offered on many weekends and on some weekdays, on your schedule and in your home. Each quarter, we will host a 3-part class with two educational sessions and one in-person, hands-on class to learn hands-on techniques.
What about your Birth Doula services?
I offer Birth Doula services to a few clients per year due to working full-time and wanting to ensure that I can provide quality time to each client. It is a passion of mine to support a pregnant person along their whole journey, so if you would like comprehensive support from someone who is an expert in this realm, I would love to connect via a consultation!
Where are you located?
We are located at 2029 E Hwy 37 in Tuttle, just inside Steppin’ Out Dance Studio. We have a large clinic space with a squat rack, weights, kids area, and a peaceful setting to help you reach your pelvic health goals.
